Today, although Deepika and Ranbir have parted ways romantically, the duo continues to share a delightful bond and like absolute professionals, make every official appearance together a genuinely wonderful one. So if you've missed seeing the two together, you're in luck. Come April 9, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor will take on the runway, draped in designer Manish Malhotra's wares. On the designer's Instagram page, he has posted old shots of both the stars in his designs; Deepika looking ravishing in a red and gold crop top and skirt while Ranbir adding charm in a kurta pajama set.

And the occasion they are coming together for makes it even more special. The fashion show by Manish Malhotra starring the two showstoppers is for Mijwan's 2018 annual fashion extravaganza called the 'walk of Mijwan'. The Mijwan Welfare Society is an NGO run by Bollywood icon Shabana Azmi for the purpose of female empowerment and employment. This year marks the ninth year of Mijwan's walk and will showcase chikankari work by its women.

The Mijwan show has always been a starry affair with Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan having walked last year and the Bachchan family taking the stage few years before that. With Deepika and Ranbir's much-awaited appearance only a few days away, we can be sure it's going to be a stylish soiree.
