1. If you find your nails yellowed after too many rounds of nail polish, make a solution of lemon juice and baking soda which you should brush onto your nails using a toothbrush. Leave for 15 minutes and wash with cold water. It's the ideal size to pick up and brush in the product for your nails to look bright and shiny.

2. Sometimes the narrow niches on your kitchen counter can't be reached with a simple scrub. That's where a toothbrush comes handy. With a bit of washing soap, it can scrub the smallest nooks and crannies easily.

3. Cannot seem to get rid of flyaways, no matter how hard you try? Then spritz hairspray onto a toothbrush and use it to brush the select regions in place. Since it is shaped like a miniature brush, it even gets into minute areas.

5. The next time you're getting crafty and want a spray paint effect, toothbrushes can come in handy. Dip it into the liquid paint of your choice, focus it in the required area and push back the bristles. You can even try a similar effect in nail art, just make sure to cover your fingers.

6. When your lips get chapped and unworthy of matte lipstick, apply petroleum jelly on a baby toothbrush and use it to gently scrub your lips. Inexpensive and quick, it will leave your lips smooth within seconds.

7. When the rubber sections of your expensive white sneakers begin looking dirty and mud-stained, use white toothpaste with your toothbrush to clean it up without touching any other parts of the shoes.
