Rents are high wherever we go; and one could make peace with that if the room in question is at least spacious. Often, that is not the case, and many people face the issue of living in cramped spaces in the city. Young professionals travel away from there cities, leaving their parent's house and then they take up places with whatever their salaries allow, often small spaces. But fret not people, there are ways to make a small space see bigger. There are hacks that not just make your room look bigger but also bring a certain look to your room.

White would be my go - to because it's clean, light, and allows me to play with colourful room accessories. Light colours reflect light and make a room look bigger; darker colours absorb light.

You heard me - instead of multiple small decorative pieces and small couches etc, go for one big statement piece. A big vase, a statement furniture piece, a huge painting - all these things make a room seem less cluttered.

Letting natural light into the room doesn't just bring along positive vibes but also does much to make the room to seem bigger. It opens up the available space.
