Sometimes, during a work day, many people feel like they aren’t at their productive best. It may be because they feel low on energy or feel a general sense of ennui. A tiff with the seniors, an argument with a colleague, or simply a lot of work stress, anything can set the mood low. In any case, an unproductive work day is something that adds stress and unnecessary negativity in the week. But there are little things that can be done to fight a bad day at work. Here are some things one can try.

Take a walk

Sometimes, fresh air helps a lot - the oxygen the greenery, and the exercise helps activate your senses again. What’s more? Having your lunch outside in the park or taking a quick trip to the coffee house to feel fresh again offers a nice change.

Shift spaces

Sometimes, sitting at the same old spot, the same old desk, doesn’t help with the creativity building. Think about working by a window, or some other desk (maybe with a view). The idea is to change setting so you have a fresh mindset.

Plug in those earphones and listen to some songs to uplift your mood. Or maybe if you want to unwind a little after a stressful meeting, listen to something soothing. In any case, the moment you feel fresh, head back to work.

Talk to someone

Spend some time talking with a colleague or a friend about something other than work. Talk about what you or they did over the weekend, or what is up with them, the likes.
