Eyebrows are really having a moment right now. After Cara Delevingne brought back bushy brows a few years ago, they've been sculpted, shaped and razored to some pretty whacky extremes. If you thought you had seen it all in the brow world, you ain't seen nothing yet! Here are 4 whimsical ways in which brows have gotten an upgrade this year.
1. Dragon brows
Giving the brows a fierce touch was the dragon eye brows trend that took over the makeup sphere. This wild trend consists of small sections of the brows being spiked upwards, something like the spikes you'd see on a dragon's back. Maybe the Game of Thrones fans will appreciate this look.
2. Squiggle brows
We've always known eyebrows to be drawn with clean-cut straight lines. That's until squiggle brows made their presence felt. The trend consisted of the brows being drawn in a gentle scalloped shape, like a serpent slithering across the brow bone. Is that eccentric enough for you?
3. Feather brows
We've all heard of featherlight beauty products, but feather brows? Now that's a first for us! What started as a joke by a Finish makeup artist turned into a full-fledged makeup trend that took the world by storm. The trend consists of brow hair being brushed on either side with a blank line in the centre, just like a feather.
4. Braided brows
Thought that braids were only for your flowing tresses? That's about to change. Fully finished brows are being given a delicate braided touch which are lending them plenty of depth. While the hair length on brows isn't physically possible to braid, we've got to thank the magic of photo editing for this trend.
