INDIA Alliance Will Be Wiped Out In Poll-Bound States, Says PM Modi In Telangana

Hyderabad:

The INDIA alliance will be wiped out in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan where Legislative Assembly polls were completed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday. He asserted that those involved in corruption deals like the 'Delhi liquor scam' cannot escape going to jail.

PM Modi, who addressed election rallies at Toopran and Nirmal in Telangana, recalled his poll campaign in the three states where polling was over.

"I have seen in the three states that "Indi alliance" (INDIA alliance) will be wiped out. The women, farmers there are going to uproot the Congress party," he said.

Referring to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on this day 15 years ago, he said the lives of many innocent countrymen were lost in the attacks.

"This day of 26/11 also reminds us of the damage, weak and incapable governments can cause to the country. In 2014, you removed the weak government of the Congress and elected the strong government of BJP because of which terrorism is being eliminated from the country today," he said.

Alleging that the Telangana Chief Minister considers the state as his 'jagir', he asked as to why K Chandrasekhar Rao had to contest from a second constituency in the present election.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also had to leave his Lok Sabha seat of Amethi and go to Kerala, he said.

The reason for KCR to contest from the second seat is the strong candidate of BJP -Eatala Rajender- in Gajwel which the former is representing in the outgoing Assembly, he said.

The other reason is the anger among farmers and poor in the constituency, he said.

Alleging that it is KCR's habit to make false promises and break them, he cited making a Dalit leader as Chief Minister, construction of two bedroom houses for the poor, jobs to youth and water to farmers.

"KCR promised schemes but gave scams. KCR promised to work for your children but only worked for his children and relatives," he said.

Does Telangana need such a chief minister who does not meet people and does not go to the Secretariat, he asked.

"Do we need a farmhouse chief minister," PM Modi asked.

The Congress or the BRS, the identity of both is corruption, family politics, appeasement and poor law and order and they are carbon copies of each other, he alleged.

"The Congress, KCR ek saman, dono se raho savadhan (Cong, KCR are like one, be alert with both)," he said.

The BJP would enhance the prestige of Telangana, he said.

The alternative to a disease-like BRS cannot be Congress which is also like a disease, he added.

Though the Congress was in power in Andhra Pradesh for long, how many people from the BC community were made the chief minister, he said. The meritorious persons from the BCs did not get opportunities in Telangana as well, he added.

Therefore, the BJP has promised to Telangana that it will give its first BC Chief Minister, he said. Social justice is possible only with BJP, he added.

The Centre is working on ensuring justice to the Madiga community of SCs, who sought categorization of SCs for justice in reservations, by appointing a committee, he said.

Alleging that there is no difference between Congress and BRS, he said Congress promoted 'sultan shahi' in the country, while KCR took forward 'nizam shahi' in Telangana.

The Congress and BRS symbolise 'parivarvad', he alleged.

While the track record of the Congress includes Bofors to taking commission in the helicopter scam, KCR also accepts that his MLAs take 30 per cent commission, he alleged.

"Most people of 'shahi pariwar' (royal family) of Congress are on bail in many corruption issues. Investigation is going on in many corruption issues against KCR family people," he said.

After "destroying Telangana", KCR is now fond of becoming 'desh ka neta' (leader of the country) and the BRS has joined hands with "Delhi's staunchly corrupt party" (a veiled reference to AAP) in its pursuit, he claimed.

The corrupt leaders would go to jail, he said.

"These people did liquor scam together. They did unscrupulous activity to the tune of crores. This scam is being investigated speedily. Some leaders are in jail. Getting bail has become difficult for them. In Telangana also, staunchly corrupt BRS leaders cannot escape the investigation of liquor scam. The game of mobile and money delivery will definitely take the corrupt leaders to jail. This is Modi's guarantee," he said.

He expressed confidence that the BJP would form its first government in Telangana and that BJP alone can form a government that can ensure the welfare and prosperity of all sections of society.

PM Modi, who highlighted BJP's poll promises in Telangana including additional purchase of boiled rice, also said Telangana is going to say goodbye to the BRS and the Congress.

Referring to Chief Minister KCR promising a special IT park for Muslim youth in Hyderabad, PM Modi asked whether IT parks would now be established on the basis of religion in the country.

While, on the one hand, the BJP-led government at the Centre is establishing food parks and textile parks, the appeasement of BRS and the Congress is going on at a different level, he said.

"The BRS has brought appeasement in technology also. Will IT park be set up in India now on religious grounds? Will this game go on? Is this an honour to India's Constitution? Is this respect to the spirit of Babasaheb Ambedkar," he said.

The Congress and the BRS are against social justice, he alleged.

Referring to Constitution Day being celebrated today, he said KCR had insulted the Constitution and Ambedkar by talking about changing the Constitution prepared by Ambedkar.

The Congress had tried to end the politics of Ambedkar and did not honour him with the Bharat Ratna award, he charged.

The BJP takes pride in establishing the 'panch teerth', five milestone places of Ambedkar, he said.

Reiterating that the Congress and BRS are a "carbon copy" of each other, he alleged that KCR is a 'Congressman' by thinking and approach.

Every vote given to the Congress will directly go to the BRS and that every vote to the Congress would strengthen family politics, corruption and appeasement, he said.

The only alternative to the "misrule" of BRS is BJP, he added.
