Ghaziabad:
Five persons have been arrested for robbing a businessman of Rs 23.5 lakh at gunpoint in Sahibabad area in Ghaziabad, police said today.
Goods worth over Rs 10 lakh have been seized from the accused, Senior Superintendent of Police Nitin Tiwari said.
According to police, two bike-borne assailants had put a gun to Rajender Prasad's head and snatched a bag containing Rs 23.5 lakh from him when he was going to deposit the amount in Oriental Bank of Commerce in Kaherda area on June 25.
The accused are being interrogated, Mr Tiwari said.
