One might suspect any number of celebrities of relying on a team to operate their social media accounts - not Amitabh Bachchan though, whose posts have the unmistakable stamp of his personal style. However, for any Doubting Thomases there might be, Mr Bachchan has confirmed in a blog post that his social media updates are his own work. "Many wonder and ask how many personnel 'deployed' by me for my social media activity. Hehehe... NONE... all done personally," wrote Amitabh Bachchan, 74, on Sunday. We believe you, Mr Bachchan, always did.

Amitabh Bachchan also revealed why he was explaining. "Someone was somewhat cryptic and in deep sarcasm, the other day, when they received a birthday greeting from me, in a text never used before and raised an accusing finger. 'You have been caught AB, your Secretary messed up in the greetings you sent, you have never addressed me thus, haha caught you.' No, my dear. all that goes out to social media is done at this time of the night and by my own hands... err... fingers," Mr Bachchan wrote.
"Assumptions are odious," he added.

Like Mr Bachchan, we certainly don't suspect Rishi Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna and several other celebrities of employing a social media team - their posts are so incontrovertibly their own.
