- Sargun Mehta revealed Ravie Dubey did not discuss the shoot or project with her
Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1 teaser was dropped today, and it's making all the right buzz. While it focused heavily on Rama, important characters such as Laxman (played by Ravie Dubey) and Sita (by Sai Pallavi) were also introduced, though out of focus. An old interview has resurfaced where actress and wife Sargun Mehta spoke about how Ravie Dubey never spoke to her about the shoot.
On Ravie Dubey Not Discussing The Project With Her
- On Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast last year, Sargun Mehta revealed, "We don't really talk about work at home. Just like he doesn't know what I'm doing until my projects are announced, I also don't find out about his work until it becomes public."
- She continued, "Someone randomly told me, 'Congratulations, Ravie is...' and I said, 'Sssh. I don't know what you're talking about - we're not allowed to tell each other, so don't tell me.' Then I read it somewhere, and thought, 'He didn't even tell me, so I can't even ask!'"
- Furthermore, she revealed how Ravie Dubey never shared details and was very vague about being on a film set.
- She added, "Whenever I asked Ravie where he was going, he'd just say, 'Kaam pe ja raha hoon,' without mentioning it was a film shoot. I had no clue what was happening on set. Once or twice, I even asked the driver, 'Set par mahol kaisa hai?'"
- Ravie Dubey laughed, "Woh bhi mere bare mein nahi, Ranbir (Kapoor) ke bare mein."
