Shilpa Shetty shares a "wonderful" bond with her colleague Salman Khan, whom she has known for 23 years, news agency IANS reported. The actress said that they have been through thick and thin in life but nothing has changed between them. Shilpa also said, when it comes to Salman, she can take certain liberties and same goes for him. "He can get away with saying anything to me and I can actually get away with saying a lot to him. I am very happy for his success. Both of us have seen so many ups and downs in our life, therefore, we are both very happy for each other's success and where we are in life," IANS quoted Shilpa Shetty as saying.
Shilpa Shetty was recently on the sets of TV show 10 Ka Dum, which is hosted by Salman Khan. Speaking about the blast that she had while shooting the episode, Shilpa Shetty said: "Some things don't change in good friendships and the audience will be able to see that in the episode of 10 Ka Dum. It's a mad show."
"I think he hasn't changed and neither me as well. Some things never change so, friendship is just the same. It's wonderful," Shilpa Shetty added.
On Monday, the 43-year-old actress treated her Instafam to a million dollar photo, which featured Salman Khan. The photo was taken on the sets of 10 Ka Dum. "23 years of friendship. Somethings never change. Dosti Ka Dum still as mad as ever," the actress wrote. Take a look at the photo here:
Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan have co-starred in several films including Garv: Pride And Honour, Shaadi Kar Ke Phas Gaya Yaar, Auzaar and Phir Milenge . Auzaar was Shilpa Shetty's first film with Salman Khan, which released in 1997. The film also featured Sanjay Kapoor.
Shilpa Shetty, who is best-known for her roles in Life In A...Metro and Dhadkan has been the winner of British reality show Celebrity Big Brother 5. She also hosted a season of reality show Bigg Boss (Indian version of Big Brother), which is now hosted by Salman Khan. The actress is married to businessman Raj Kundra and they are parents to six-year-old Viaan.
