Just two days before its release, a special screening of Govinda Naam Mera was hosted in Mumbai on Wednesday and it was attended by many Bollywood A-listers. Headlining the screening were the film's lead pair Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal. Bhumi Pednekar, who also stars in the Shashank Khaitan directorial, was MIA from the screening. The guest list also comprised Vicky Kaushal's wife Katrina Kaif, his brother Sunny Kaushal, filmmaker David Dhawan and son Varun. Filmmaker Karan Johar, Huma Qureshi, filmmaker Kabir Khan were also pictured at the screening. Sharvari, who is rumoured to be dating Vicky's brother Sunny Kaushal also watched the film.

In the Shashank Khaitan-directed film, Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Govinda, a choreographer who wants to make a name for himself as a dancer. However, his life is stuck between his wife Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar) and girlfriend Suku (Kiara Advani).
Vicky Kaushal's Govinda Naam Mera releases on December 16 on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. It stars Bhumi Pednekar alongside Vicky and Kiara Advani.
