Mumbai: Bollywood actors including Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ayushmann Khurranna and Kriti Sanon attended the 17th Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival on October 31.

They spoke about how their films affect brand endorsements, social media pressure, success and failures.

Arjun said that reality is quite different from social media.

"No number of likes and comments relate to the success or failure or choice of films. For a film to succeed, people have to come to the theatres to watch it. But sometimes you feel every movie and every song is a hit on social media. When you come out of it, reality is different," said Arjun.

"There is no loyalty towards one person yet. They love the films that we do more than they love us. I think it's going to take five, ten, I don't know how many years to watch anything we do. We haven't reached that stage," said Parineeti.

Ayushmann who made his debut in Bollywood with 2012's Vicky Donor said that an actor must be consistent in order to survive in the industry.

"Like cricket, we have to spend some time in the middle. We have to be consistent. We have to be there for some time, do decent work and build a certain fan base or loyalty," said Ayushmann.

Alia, who was recently seen in Shaandaar said that thinking too much about the "end result" may stop an actor from taking risks.
