SRK and Mr Bhaskar met at the UK Asian Awards in London this year, where they were honoured for Outstanding Achievement in Cinema and Television respectively.
23 Golden Years of SRK has been a top Twitter trend all day Thursday.
Shah Rukh Khan, 49, made his Bollywood debut in Deewana, which released on June 25, 1992. His co-stars were Divya Bharti, soon to die in a tragic accident, and Rishi Kapoor, who tweeted:

A fan club tweeted this photo of the co-stars from 23 years ago:
In the two decades and a bit that has passed since, SRK has occupied the top box office berths - with fellow Khans - Salman and Aamir - and continues to churn out money spinners like Happy New Year and Chennai Express, his last two films. This year, he has Dilwale with Kajol out in December, and is also working on Raees with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Yash Raj Films' Fan.
