She is apparently convinced it will affect herfamily's reputation, as Bristol recently broke up from Alaskanpipeline worker Gino Paoletti.
Before that, she had a volatile relationship with herex-fiance Levi Johnston, with whom she has a two-year-old son,Tripp.
"Sarah is furious at Bristol for going so quickly fromman to man. She is doing her best to prevent Bristol's newrelationship from being featured in the reality show," said asource close to the family.
But Palin's attempts to meddle are said to haveinfuriated her daughter.
"Bristol told Sarah, 'Back off and let me lead my ownlife'. She doesn't agree with her mom's politics or hercontrolling ways," added the source.
