TV star Gauahar Khan, in her latest tweet, slammed a media report that claimed that the actress is pregnant. Gauahar, who lost her father Zafar Ahmed Khan due to prolonged illness last week, replied to the media report in a strongly-worded tweet and she wrote: "Tumhara dimaag kharaab hai! Aur facts bhi. 12 saal chote waali galat news hui purani, so get your facts right before typing! I've just lost my dad so have some sensitivity towards your baseless reports." The Tandav actress signed off the tweet with these words, "I am not pregnant, thank you very much."
Gauahar Khan got married to choreographer Zaid Darbar on Christmas. Zaid Darbar is the son of veteran singer-composer Ismail Darbar. In an interview with ETimes last year, Gauahar talked about the age difference between her and Zaid and said, "Let me clear this, the age difference that has come out is wrong. 12 years is wrong and it is very easy for people to make it news. But it is wrong. Yes, he is a few years younger to me but 12 is not the number," she said.
Last week, Gauahar announced the death of her father on social media in an emotional post. She wrote: "My hero. No man like you, ever ! My father has passed to the ever after as an angel . Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life and the best soul he was. Forever my papa. I love you oh so much. I am so much of you Papa and yet can never ever be even a percent of your magnanimous personality."
