New Delhi:

Happy birthday, Nysa Devgn! Kajol and Ajay Devgn's daughter Nysa is celebrating her 18th birthday today and her parents are showering her with birthday blessings on social media. In an Instagram post, Kajol shared a throwback photo of herself and baby Nysa and wrote: "I was so nervous when you were born. It was the biggest exam of my life and I had all those fears and feelings that go with it for a whole year at least. Then you turned 10 and I realised I was a teacher just part of the time. Most of the times I was a student learning new ways to do things and look at them."

Officially welcoming Nysa into adulthood, Kajol added: "And now we come to today and I can finally say I passed with flying colours. You are what we all say women should be. So fly high my darling and don't tone down your shine for anyone. I've got your back! Happy adulthood. You have the tools so use your powers for good."

Meanwhile, in a separate Instagram post, Ajay Devgn wrote: "Happy Birthday, dearest Nysa. Small joys like this are the only 'break' in stressful times like these. Also, a sincere prayer for all those who need healing."

When the lockdown was imposed in India last year, Nysa Devgn flew back from Singapore and spent a few months with mom Kajol, dad Ajay Devgn and brother Yug in Maximum City. She rejoined school in September, when Kajol accompanied her to Singapore. Nysa recently trended a great deal on social media for a video of her performing to Bollywood songs at a school event.
