Hrithik Roshan Says He Is Feeling Better Than Ever

Hrithik said that there are ways to defy mind and all the stacking of negatives.

Actor Hrithik Roshan is out of his den and headed into the public. The first thing he assures his fans is that he is now 'feeling good'. The actor had a tumultuous last year due to his brain injury (while shooting for Bang Bang) followed by a surgery, which was closely followed by his separation from his wife of 12 years Sussanne. If all this was not enough, Hrithik also opted out of Karan Johar's Shuddhi citing date issues.

Taking about his injuries, Hrithik said, "I feel good. It's all in the mind. So when I don't feel good even then I feel good. There is a way to defy the mind, to defy all the stacking of negatives."

However, Hrithik's boat seems to be floating just fine now. The actor has successfully completed the shooting of Bang Bang co-starring actor Katrina Kaif. Talking about the same, Hrithik said that the film helped him discover strengths he never knew he had. "This film served as a great example for me for the rest of my life. I truly think that I delved really deep in my brain and mind to complete parts of this film, with all that was happening. The mind tells you things and then you defy it, and then you discover strengths you never knew you had. It (Bang Bang) served as a fantastic experience. Through this experience I teach my children someday what strength is truly about."

While Hrithik was recuperating from his surgery, he had issued a statement saying that he is opting out of Shuddhi. This shocked his fans and sparked rumours of rift between the actor and producer. While Karan had said that there was no bad blood between them, Hrthik says that they were disappointed that the film did not work out.

Talking about his decision to opt out Shuddhi, Hrithik said, "I'm not disappointed that the film did not work out. It was a decision that the director (Karan Malhotra) made. He couldn't wait for the extra months I had to give to the filming of Bang Bang, and wanted to move on with another actor. And I said a dignified yes. I understand what it is like to be in limbo and that's when I gave my statement that I want him to move on with the project."

Hrithik had earlier worked with Karan Malhotra in the remake of Agneepath, which was also produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Hrithik further said, "Director is the visionary and you need to give him what it takes for him to create that vision. And if a day comes when he feels he needs something or someone else to fit the vision, all you can do is respect the fact he is being honest to himself and give him the way out."

Soon after Hrithik opted out of the film, the film's leading lady Kareena Kapoor, too opted out saying that she was in the film only because of Hrithik. However, Hrithik says that his Main Prem Ki Diwaani Hoon co-star was not being completely honest and she was in for the whole package of actor, director, producer and the script.

After many speculations the film was finally bagged by actor Salman Khan. On that development Hrithik said, "The role gets well suited to him (Salman). That's the power of the man. He can make any role 'suited' for him and it all works out."

Talking about the new talent Hrithik says it's refreshing and nice to see the new crop of actors coming up in the last few years. He also said it's necessary to motivate the young actors for their good work.

Hrithik also suggested that he has a project in mind for new actress like Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra to star with him in a film.

Meanwhile, Hrithik has also joined hands with his Jodhaa Akbar director Ashutosh Gowarikar for another period drama film Mohenjo Daro which stars Pooja Hedge, and will go on floors soon.
