Aday after Chiranjeevi's younger daughter Srija lodged a complaint against her husband, G ShirishBharadwaj, accusing him of harassing her for dowry, police booked acase against him.
After receiving the complaint, police questioned Shirish and his family members. However, no one has been arrested yet.
Srija had shocked her family by eloping with Shirish and marrying him in 2007. The couple had even approacheda court seeking protection from Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi, President of Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), and his wife later accepted themarriage after Srija gave birth to a baby girl. Their daughter Nivrithi is now two and a half years old.
In hercomplaint, Srija, 23, said her husband started harassing her ever sinceshe mended fences with her parents. She alleged that her husband andmother-in-law had even physically assaulted her.
She also added that her husband asked her to bring Rs. 50 lakh from her parents.
