Attention, folks. Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan will hit the theatres on September 7. The Atlee directorial also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Ahead of its release, SRK offered prayers at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati. Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by daughter Suhana Khan, his Jawan co-star Nayanthara and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. Be it the advance bookings or the Burj Khalifa event, fans, including us, are super excited about the movie. After all, it's Shah Rukh Khan we are talking about. Earlier in the day, SRK on X (formerly Twitter) declared, “It's almost showtime for me and my fearless girls! Just 2 days to go!”

Advance Bookings Update
Jawan has already sold over 3 lakh tickets for day 1. In a post on X, formerly called Twitter, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the advance booking status of Jawan. He wrote, “Jawan advance booking status. Note: Tickets sold for Thursday/ Day 1 at national chains. Update: Tuesday, 10.45 am. PVR + INOX: 250,000. Cinepolis: 53,000. Total: 303,000 tickets sold.” In a follow up tweet, the film critic added, “Miraj: 28,000. Updated total: 331,000.”
Early Morning Shows
SRK's Jawan has earned some early morning slots in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Patna, among others. Producer Manoj Desai, who is also the owner of Gaiety Galaxy theatre (Mumbai), revealed that Jawan will have its first show at 6:00 am.
Kolkata's Miraj Cinemas has also scheduled a 5 am screening for the SRK-starrer.
Jawan's fever on IMDb's Popular Indian Celebrities list
Jawan took over the list of IMDb's Popular Indian Celebrities. With Shah Rukh Khan securing the second rank, we have Nayanthara on the third spot, who will be making her Bollywood debut with the action-thriller. Deepika Padukone is on the fourth slot. Director Atlee ranks ninth, and Jawan's primary antagonist Vijay Sethupati's rank is 24.
Jawan on Times Square
The fever of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan took over Times Square in New York City. The trailer of the film was streamed on the billboard at the iconic venue.

The Girl Power of SRK's Jawan
Deepika Padukone, who has so far done four films with Shah Rukh Khan, has a special appearance in Jawan. Apart from Deepika, Sanya Malhotra, TV star Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, singer-actor Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi are Shah Rukh Khan's “fearless girls”.
