The 17th Lok Sabha Election 2019 in the Uluberia constituency of West Bengal was held in the fifth phase on May 6, 2019.

A total of 16, 14,039 electorates have been registered in this constituency this time among which are 8, 31,593 male voters, 7, 82,405 female voters and 41 third gender voters.

Uluberia constituency is one of the 543 parliamentary constituencies in India.In 2014, AITCs Sultan Ahmed was the winner for the 2014 General Election. He received 5, 70,785 votes. The runner up for the 2014 election was CPM candidate Sabir Uddin Molla, who received 3, 69,563 votes, the sitting MP from AITC candidate Sultan Ahmed, won with a margin of 2, 01,222 votes. The polling percentage for Uluberia constituency in 2014 was 81.95 %.

In 2009, the winner for the 15th Lok Sabha election was an AITC candidate Sultan Ahmed who defeated the CPM candidate Hannan Mollah with a margin of 98,936 votes. The winner and the runner up received 5, 14,193 votes and 4, 15,257 votes respectively. The polling percentage in Uluberia constituency in 2009 election was 80.68 %.

In 1971 and 1977, CPM's Shyama Prasanna Bhattacharya won the elections in Uluberia constituency of West Bengal. In 1980, 1984, 1989, 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004 CPM candidate Hannan Mollah won the election from Uluberia seat.

In 2019 General Election, Joy Banerjee from BJP, Maksuda Khatun from CPIM, Sajda Ahmed from AITC and ShomaRnisree Roy from INC are contesting from Uluberia constituency in West Bengal.
