An 83-year-old patient was killed and three others were injured when a man admitted to government hospital here turned violent and went on an attacking spree in the wee hours today.
Hospital sources said Shamsu, said to be a drunkard and admitted to the hospital for fever, suddenly became violent and started attacking other patients in the ward.
