Heat wave in Vidarbha; Nagpur sizzles at 45.6 degree Celsius

Nagpur: Nagpur was today the hottest city in Vidarbha, recording a maximum temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius.

Other places in the region in south-east Maharashtra also experienced heat wave conditions.

Chandrapur (45.5 degrees) was the second hottest city and Bramhapuri at 45.1 was equally hot. Amravati recorded a maximum temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures recorded at other places included Akola 44.3, Gondia 43.1, Washim 42.6, Wardha 44.5 and Yavatmal 43.2 degrees Celsius, the Regional Meteorological Office said in Nagpur.
