The Lonavla Municipal Council issued a notice to the producers of the reality show Bigg Boss, Endemol India Private Limited, on Thursday asking them to stop the show's shooting.
LMC chief executive officer, Yogesh Godse, said the council issued the notice since the production house is yet to complete the paperwork needed to start the shooting. The shooting of the reality show is taking place at a set in Lonavla, 60 km from Pune.
"This is in violation of the law. The guards outside the bungalow, where the show is being shot, stopped the municipal council employees from entering the premises. The person in charge of the bungalow refused to receive the notice. Hence, we had to paste the notice outside the bungalow gate," Godse said.
Shiv Sena and MNS had protested against the participation of Pakistani celebrities in the show.
