Volkswagen has unveiled the all-electric ID. Tiguan for Europe, with a launch planned for early 2027. The SUV is set to replace the ID.4 and ID.5 in the company's electric line-up, while petrol, diesel and hybrid versions of the Tiguan will continue to be sold alongside it. Volkswagen claims a WLTP range of up to 600 km, depending on the chosen battery and drivetrain.
Built on the MEB+ platform, the ID. Tiguan adopts Volkswagen's "Pure Positive" design language. The company describes its shape as more traditionally SUV-like than the crossover form of the ID.4 and ID.5.
