
Tata Motors has announced its sales for July 2025. As per the announcement, the brand has registered a total sales of 69,131 units. This translates to a total wholesale dip of 4 per cent year-on-year when compared to 71,996 units in July 2024. Meanwhile, the Indian automaker's total domestic dispatches saw a decline of 12 per cent to 39,521 units last month against 44,725 units in July last year. Meanwhile, overall domestic sales of the brand declined by 6 percent from 70,161 units in July 2024 to 65,953 units in July 2025.
At the same time, total passenger vehicle sales declined 11 per cent to 40,175 units last month from 44,954 units in July 2024. Meanwhile, electric vehicle sales in July 2025 stood at 7,124 units, registering a growth of 42 percent compared to 5,027 units sold last year. This is also the highest-ever monthly EV sales registered by the brand, marking a significant milestone.

Presently, the brand has an extensive electric vehicle portfolio covering various segments with models like Tiago.ev, Tigor.ev, Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and the latest Harrier.ev. It is to be noted that the recently launched Harrier.ev is the biggest EV of the brand yet and also the first indigenous vehicle with an all-wheel-drive powertrain.
Total commercial vehicle sales stood at 28,956 units in July, a jump of 7 per cent as compared with 27,042 units a year ago. Contributing to this were heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs) with 6,735 units, Intermediate, Light, and Medium Commercial Vehicles (ILMCV) with 5,068 units, passenger carriers with 4,749 units, and SCV cargo and pickups with sales of 9,880 units.
