Skoda has confirmed that the prices of the Octavia RS for the Indian market will be announced on Friday, October 17. Before the Czech automaker announces the price of the performance-oriented version of the car, it will initiate the pre-bookings on October 6. Meanwhile, the deliveries are scheduled to begin in November. Additionally, the car will be available in a limited number for Indian consumers. As per the brand, a total of 100 units will be sold in the country.
To be brought into India via the CBU route, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS will seek power from a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. This unit is tuned to put out 216 hp of power and 370 Nm of peak torque. The power is routed to the front wheels using a seven-speed DSG gearbox. Based on the UK-spec version of the model, the car will now have the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) available in other markets.

Using the power produced by the 2.0-litre engine, the car is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed is limited to 250 kmph. Justifying the RS badge, the car is 15 mm lower compared to the standard version. To amplify its sporty nature, the Czech automaker has equipped the car with a different exhaust system compared to the standard model.
The sporty stance of the car is also reflected in its design with LED Matrix headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sharper lines. On the inside, the car gets sports seats, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and more.
Once launched, the Skoda Octavia RS will likely have a price range of around Rs 50 lakh. If it comes with this price range, it will be in the same range as the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
