The Renault Duster is all set to return to the Indian market on 26th January 2025. First introduced in India back in 2012, the SUV enjoyed a decade-long run before being discontinued in 2022, owing to falling sales and stricter BS6 emission norms. Now making a comeback in its third-generation avatar, the new Duster represents a major leap over its predecessor. Built on the CMF-B platform, it brings with it upgraded electronics, enhanced safety systems, and modernized powertrain options.
Renault Duster: Engine
The engine line-up for the upcoming Duster hasn't been officially announced yet, but it's likely to include Renault's 156hp, 1.3-litre 'HR13' turbo-petrol unit, paired with both manual and CVT gearbox options. For the entry-level trims, the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol from the Kiger is expected to feature, potentially with a slight increase in output.

Renault Duster: Exterior
On the outside, the new Renault Duster will feature distinct styling cues to differentiate it from the global model. Teasers have already revealed highlights such as a rear LED light bar, rear wiper and washer, redesigned LED DRLs with integrated turn signals, and functional roof rails. Additionally, the SUV will sport newly designed front and rear bumpers along with a fresh set of alloy wheels, among other updates.

Renault Duster: Interior
The new Duster's cabin adopts a rugged yet contemporary theme, highlighted by a modern dashboard layout. In the international-spec model, buyers can choose between an all-black or a dual-tone finish. The interior carries a layered design language, featuring bold angular contours across the dashboard, a driver-oriented centre console, and distinctive hexagonal air vents that add to its robust character.

Renault Duster: Features
Feature-wise, the upcoming Duster is likely to be equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Convenience features such as wireless charging and a 360-degree camera are also expected. Notably, Renault is tipped to introduce ADAS technology on the Duster, marking the brand's first model in India to offer advanced driver assistance systems.
Renault Duster: Expected Price
While, the prices of the new Renault Duster has not been announced yet and is liley to be announced tomorrow. The expected price of the Hyundai Creta rival is expected to be tagged around Rs 11 lakh - 19 lakh price bracket, across variants.
