Mahindra & Mahindra are on a spree, releasing back-to-back teasers for their concept models to be showcased on August 15. The list includes Vision.T, Vision.S, Vision.X, and Vision.SXT, all based on the Freedom_NU platform. The first phase of teasers gave a sneak peek of the design, while the following teasers are giving the audience a more detailed look at the design of the upcoming concepts. The latest in the series is a short video clip giving a slightly more detailed look at the Vision.S

Based on speculations, the Mahindra Vision.S will be a part of the Scorpio family, which has models like Scorpio Classic and the Scorpio N. While the earlier teaser gave a look at the top, the new one shows the side profile of the vehicle. It confirms the presence of an upright front fascia and flared wheel arches with plastic cladding. It also confirms the presence of a hood scoop. Unlike the Vision.T, it comes with road-biased tires instead of chunky ones, designed for off-roading.

The company is anticipated to unveil additional teasers that will showcase the other concept models. One of the teasers will give a partial glimpse of the Vision.X, while the final one will focus on the Vision.SXT. Among these, the Vision.SXT is likely to be a pickup truck based on the Scorpio-N, which was presented by the company together with the Thar.e Concept in South Africa in 2023.

As previously mentioned, all four concept vehicles are projected to be built on the Freedom_NU platform. This innovative platform will accommodate future offerings from the company, which will include internal combustion engine (ICE), electric vehicle (EV), and hybrid versions. The new platforms, along with the final production models of these concept vehicles, will be manufactured at Mahindra's facility in Chakan, Pune.

Simultaneously, the Indian automaker is preparing to introduce several other models in the country. The lineup includes an updated version of the XUV700, along with the Bolero, the BE Rall-e, and additional offerings. These models have been seen testing on Indian roads multiple times and will feature improvements over the existing versions.
