Mahindra Thar has become one of the vehicles which carries the emotions of its owner. Showing one such example, an owner of the special Earth Edition of the SUV has had their vehicle delivered in London. The video of the delivery of the car has been shared on social media and captures the moment the vehicle was handed over to the owner in London.

The short clip shared on social media shows the SUV being unloaded from a flatbed truck, as shown in the post. The driver releases the vehicle and lowers it onto the street with a ramp mechanism. After it's on the road, the owner manoeuvres it and ultimately parks it in front of his home. It's important to note that this Thar features large alloy wheels, which appear to be added accessories.

Mahindra Thar Earth Edition was launched in India in February 2024 at a starting price of Rs 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, the SUV is sold at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This special iteration of the vehicle was introduced with visual changes, including special 'Desert Fury' and 'Earth Edition' badges to mark its special nature.

The Mahindra Thar Earth Edition features a similar interior colour scheme, showcasing leatherette upholstery in dual-tone beige and black. Continuing with the desert-themed design, the SUV includes line art on the headrest that mimics the contours of dunes. Various elements, such as the Mahindra logo on the steering wheel, cupholders, gear knob, and gear console, sport a dark chrome finish.

The Mahindra Thar Earth Edition is exclusively offered on the 4x4 variants, with options of petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 152 hp and 300 Nm and can be paired with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. The 2.2-litre diesel engine produces 132 hp and 300 Nm, and it can also be matched with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
