The Hero Splendor has been a trusted name in the Indian market for over three decades, earning the nickname 'Lord Splendor' for its go-anywhere reliability and impressive fuel efficiency. With rising component costs and other factors, Hero has announced a small price revision for the Splendor Plus, the more feature-rich version of the standard model. The hike, however, is minimal, just Rs 250, ensuring the bike remains accessible while continuing to deliver value.

The Hero Splendor Plus continues to hold its position as India's bestselling commuter motorcycle, valued for its proven reliability and excellent fuel efficiency. It retains the familiar 100cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, working jointly with a 4-speed Constant Mesh gearbox that delivers 7.09 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque. Mechanically, the setup remains unchanged, with suspension duties handled by a telescopic fork at the front and twin-shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a simple yet dependable ride.

Over time, the Hero Splendor Plus has seen its prices rise, with the base variant touching Rs 80,000 earlier in 2025. Hero's latest price adjustment is likely aimed at balancing higher production expenses, but the increase is minimal and unlikely to impact buyer sentiment. Despite these changes, the Splendor Plus continues to be the brand's most popular and trusted model.
