
Ducati 821 has received a new look and proved to be pleasing to motoring enthusiasts. The custom bike builder, Bandit9, has unveiled the limited production edition of the Ducati 821 with heavy aluminium work. The ultra-limited edition of the Ducati 821 is restricted to just 9 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest Ducatis globally.

Based on the Ducati 821, the aluminium bodyframe edition gets a 821 is an 821cc Testastretta 11-degree twin-cylinder engine capable of producing 109 hp at 9,250rpm and 86 Nm of torque at 7,750rpm. While the limited edition model does get the striking aluminium frame, Bandit9 has retained the engine from the standard version without any tuning or engine-specific modifications.

The custom bike maker has made sure that this particular edition of the Ducati 821 maintains a low weight figure, using an aluminium frame and a carbon fibre single-seat cowl that contribute to the 175 kgs of kerb weight. Also, these elements have been handcrafted with hand-polished aluminium, giving them a more premium appeal and precision.

Talking about the underpinnings, the Bandit9 Ducati 821 gets a chassis fitted with 43mm Sachs front forks and an adjustable Sachs mono-shock at the rear. The braking duty is taken care of by dual 320mm slotted Brembo discs with monobloc callipers at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear.
The ultra-limited edition of the Ducati 821 is priced at 44,990 USD, which converts to approximately Rs 39.06 lakh. However, the Indian users can get the standard Ducati Monster at Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
