BMW Motorrad took the wraps off the new F 450 GS at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Just days after its global debut, reports suggest that unofficial bookings for the adventure tourer are already underway. As per reports, the booking amount is around Rs 20,000, depending on the dealership and location. While pricing and launch details remain under wraps, speculations point to an India launch sometime in early 2026.
The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a newly developed 450cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 48 PS and 43 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with Quickshifter Pro for seamless gear changes. This engine has been co-engineered with TVS as part of their ongoing collaboration.
On the design front, the production-spec F 450 GS gets a sculpted fuel tank, sharp side fairings, and a pointed front end with a prominent beak-like extension. The headlamp, inspired by the R 1300 GS, features bold X-shaped DRLs, while a sleek tail lamp completes the bike's aggressive and adventure-ready styling.
The company stated the bike weighs 175kg, though it didn't clarify whether this refers to kerb or dry weight. Considering the smaller G 310 GS already has a 175kg kerb weight, it's likely this figure excludes fluids. In practical terms, the final production model is expected to tip the scales slightly higher than the concept.
Talking about the underpinnings, the BMW F 450 GS rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, and the suspension duty is performed by 43mm USD forks at the front with adjustable spring preload & rebound, and a rear monoschock.
The Baby GS is The BMW is also equipped with a TFT panel enabled with connectivity features, easy ride clutch, heated grips, adjustable levers, and more. It will be available in two color options, namely, Cosmic Black and Racing Red.
