BMW F 450 GS Price To Be More Than KTM 390 Adventure, Says Internet

BMW Motorrad is set to launch the F 450 GS in the Indian market on April 23. Ahead of the official event, the Bavarian brand released a teaser for the adventure motorcycle on social media. Many users and motorcycle enthusiasts expressed their excitement in response to the post, while others celebrated the announcement. Additionally, some users began speculating on the pricing of the upcoming model.

BMW F 450 GS: Expected Price

Many social media users speculated that the middle-weight adventure motorcycle will be priced between Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 5 lakh in India. Others resonated with the speculation and said that the motorcycle will likely be sold at Rs 6 lakh on-road. At this moment, it is too early to comment on the speculations regarding pricing. However, we can expect the brand to have competitive pricing for the model as it will be manufactured in the country by TVS. For context, the motorcycle's rival, the KTM 390 Adventure, is sold at Rs 3.96 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

BMW F 450 GS: Price In Global Market

In Germany, the prices of the BMW F 450 GS will start from 7,220 Euro (around Rs 7.79 lakh) as per the official website. The number can change for the Indian market because of multiple factors, such as taxation and manufacturing, among other things. In this context, the motorcycle seems to have a premium pricing, which hints that the brand might follow a similar approach in India.

BMW F 450 GS: Specs

The F 450 GS is powered by a 420cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that generates 48 hp and 43 Nm, coupled with a 6-speed transmission. It is also equipped with BMW's Shift Assistant Pro (quickshifter) for seamless upshifts and downshifts without using the clutch. Globally, this model is available in four trims: Basic, Exclusive, Sport, and Trophy, all of which may be introduced in India.

Additionally, the motorcycle features BMW's Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), which purportedly enhances riding comfort and dynamics. This system is standard on the Trophy variant but can also be added to other versions.
