Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj's new pinned tweet features her in the Parliament complex today, holding hands with her husband Swaraj Kaushal. There are beaming smiles all around, including on the face of Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, standing right behind the couple.
Ms Swaraj, 64, tweeted that they had bumped into each other.
To an apologetic query on whether they aren't together, Mrs Swaraj promptly replied, "We are together at home, but not in parliament anymore."
The minister explained that Mr Kaushal, a noted lawyer and former governor of Mizoram, were colleagues in the Rajya Sabha between 2000 and 2004. Sushma Swaraj is now a member of the Lok Sabha; her husband is not an MP anymore.
Last month, Ms Swaraj had thanked people for their good wishes on her wedding anniversary by posting a picture with her husband of when they were much younger
In other tweets she has posted decades-old black and white pictures with the legendary Jayaprakash Narayan or JP and one from her first oath ceremony as a minister. She was 25. The foreign minister has earned admiration for her prompt replies and solutions for those who tweet their problems to her. Opposition leaders have praised her efforts in Parliament.
