This recognition places it among seven worldwide airports honoured for architectural excellence and thoughtful urban planning. The prestigious award is presented annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd.
