Double-Decker EV Bus Launched In Lucknow For Tourists: Route, Timing, Prices And More

If Lucknow is on your bucket list, then now is the best time. Reason? The UP State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) rolled out a double-decker electric bus called Lucknow Darshan on January 7, offering both tourists and residents the opportunity to explore key heritage spots in the city. On January 9, a video of the luxury bus travelling through the streets of Lucknow was shared on X.

Lucknow Darshan Timing And Routes: 

The Lucknow Darshan bus, equipped with 2 decks, can accommodate up to 66 passengers. The service, operating in two slots: one in the morning from 8.30 am to 11.30 am and one in the evening from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, begins from 1090 Chauraha. It connects Vidhan Sabha Bhavan, The Residency, UP Darshan Park, Hazratganj, Raj Bhavan, Gomti riverfront, Chattar Manzil and Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, along with special access to Vidhan Sabha Bhavan. 40-minute stops at The Residency and Vidhan Sabha are also included in the service. 

The Lucknow Darshan bus, however, does not cover the old city areas such as Bada Imambara, Rumi Gate and Hussainabad Clock Tower. 

Lucknow Darshan Bus Ticket Prices

• For Adults: Adults have to pay Rs 500 for the service
• For Children: For children between 5 and 12 years, the price is Rs 400. Children below 5 years are exempt from the charges.

Additionally, a 10 per cent discount is available until January 31. Bookings are available through the UPSTDC website.
