The schools have put out their 1st list using the point-based criteria announced earlier. DoE has said that the private unaided recognised schools shall develop and adopt criteria for admission which shall be fair, reasonable, well-defined, equitable, non-discriminatory, unambiguous and transparent.

As per the age criteria for nursery admission 2022-23, for admission in the pre-school (nursery), pre-primary (KG) and Class 1, the minimum age for admission has to be three years, four years and five years respectively by March 31, 2022.

The first merit lists for the Delhi nursery admissions will be released on March 20 by the schools. Parents seeking admission for their children in Nursery, KG and Class 1 can check the official websites of the private Delhi schools.

Schools in Delhi have been asked to give age relaxation of up to 30 days, both at a minimum and maximum level for admission in Nursery, KG and Class 1.
