Sam Pitroda to present detailed reports on 10 Kerala development projects

Thiruvananthapuram: Eminent technocrat Sam Pitroda, appointed as 'state mentor for development' by the Congress-led UDF government in Kerala, would present before the cabinet detailed reports on 10 projects for the state's economic growth on May 28.

"Coastal transport development, setting up of a Knowledge City and schemes for the growth of ayurveda are some of the projects to be presented by Pitroda on May 28", Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told reporters after a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Mr Pitroda and his team would hold talks with ministers and state officials, based on which a comprehensive development proposal would be prepared, Mr Chandy said.

The report is the follow up action of Mr Pitroda, who visited the state three months back with his team of experts on various fields and held talks with Mr Chandy and other ministers.
