Bangalore:
A 38-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly setting ablaze his wife and one-and-a half year-old daughter, police said today.
While the child succumbed to her injuries on the spot, the 27-year-old mother succumbed to her injuries in government-run Victoria Hospital last night, police said.
The man, who was absconding, was taken into custody last night, police said.
A case of murder has been booked against him, sources added.
