When Arjun Rampal Revealed Why He And Gabriella Demetriades Are Raising Their Sons In Goa

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have officially registered their marriage at the Bardez Sub-Registrar's Office in Mapusa, North Goa. Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar confirmed the news to PTI on August 21.

The wedding ceremony was reportedly an intimate affair, where the couple exchanged vows in the presence of their loved ones. As they have transitioned from partners to spouses, here is a look back at the time Arjun Rampal revealed why he and Gabriella Demetriades decided to move to Goa to raise their two sons, Arik and Ariv.

Arjun Rampal On Why He Is Raising His Sons In Goa

A couple of years ago, Arjun Rampal featured on the BeerBiceps podcast. The actor opened up about his relationship, raising four children, and why he and Gabriella Demetriades decided to move to Goa to raise their sons.

"They are in Goa. Clean air. Running around. Swimming. Climbing trees," he said, adding that this is how he grew up. The actor further shared that his sons had already started cycling. "They can climb walls," he noted.

"They can do everything. They are trekking with me. There is this beautiful waterfall trek in Goa that we recently did, and this is the first time I introduced them to Lord Shiva because it is called the Shivling Waterfall," Arjun shared with the host.

He explained that where the water breaks in Valpoi, the rock formation looks like a giant Shivling. The father of four children added that kids need to grow up surrounded by nature. "They need openness, they need nature, they need to be shown all of that," he added.

Arjun Rampal Said Raising Children Is Expensive

Ranveer Allahbadia asked Arjun Rampal about being a father to four children. He said, "It's amazing. It's brilliant. It is the most important thing in the world."

The actor further said that children have the cleanest energy. "Best energy. Purest. Cleanest. Best energy," he added, describing his love for his children as "unconditional".

Arjun said he feels blessed that he can give unconditional love to four children. He even thought about having one more child, but admitted that raising children is expensive today. "If they weren't so expensive, I would have definitely had one more. But they are expensive. And the expense is going to keep increasing," he noted.

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades welcomed their son Arik in July 2019 and Ariv in July 2023. The actor also has two daughters, Mahika and Myra, from his previous marriage to Mehr Jesia.
