We haven't seen much of Kareena Kapoor's stylish side post her latest movie release in June. Since then, the Bollywood star, her family and friends have been laying low in London. Now that's she back at work with events and shoots, it means more fashion spotting for us which is always a win when this perennially chic actress is concerned.
Her latest look was no different. Continuing the rather risky all-white trend that has been rampant this monsoon was Kareena Kapoor for an advertisement shoot. She wore a white shirt that was hitched up on her midriff to show a sliver of skin. Paired with it was a boho-chic tiered sheer maxi skirt that hit the calves. For a necessary pop of colour, stylist Lakshmi Lehr opted for hot pink pointed pumps with a ring and earrings as the only accessories. Kareena's hair was worn in a low ponytail and her makeup, radiant with flushed cheeks and red nails.
In usual fashion, Kareena never fails to look her very best, even when she's on set and isn't being pap'd. The shoes with their bright hue were a smart choice and so was the effortlessly put together beauty look. But it's Kareena's shirt that really steals the show.
Think for a second at the places you've taken your white shirt. Surely to a presentation or board meeting. Maybe even for a dinner party. But have you ever thought of styling your stuffy white shirt with a gypsy-esque vibe like so? Unlikely. Along with it being tied up at the waist, Kareena's shirt is also unbuttoned for a chic off-shoulder look.
Now who would have thought a basic white shirt could be upgraded so simply. Of course, we can trust Kareena Kapoor to show us just how.
