On a day as momentous as this one, the film star decided to take a trip back in time and let us tag along, all on her Instagram post. The first photograph in the series of pictures, sees a much-younger Samantha in black and white, which was taken when Ms. Ruth Prabhu was 16-years-old and a model. Fashionable as ever even back then, Samantha is posing seated in the photo while wearing a floral printed dress with a white long sleeve shrug on top with necklaces and bangles as her accessories of choice. It's lovely to see Samantha from where it all began, isn't it?

In the last year, Samantha has spoken about being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called myositis so her seeing how far she has come in the past year is even more commendable. The same series includes pictures of Samantha strapped to a ventilator. But she also showed the highlights of recent times with her being seen riding a horse, a plate with what looks like strawberry sorbet and even a picture of her working out.
