In a conversation with Women's Wear Daily (WWD), Francis Kurkdjian, the perfume creation director at Dior, expressed his admiration for the previous Baby Dior product line. He mentioned, "When I joined Dior in October 2022, one of the projects I had in mind was revisiting Baby Dior." Kurkdjian explained that Christian Dior often reminisced about his joyful childhood, inspiring the revival of the discontinued scent and baby care line as a tribute.
Following discussions with Baby Dior's artistic director Cordelia de Castellane, the two found a shared vision for rejuvenating the collection. "We immediately discussed... working together to build back this universe," Kurkdjian stated, noting that "Baby Dior was born that day."
The Baby Dior products are now accessible for purchase online, at select Baby Dior, and Parfums Christian Dior boutiques.
