Cannes 2023: Catherine Zeta-Jones's Elie Saab Gown Looked Even More Fiery Than The Red Carpet She Was On

The Cannes Film Festival has always been an elaborate fashion affair. With global stars walking the red carpet, we get one too many bookmark-worthy fashion moments. One of them was Catherine Zeta-Jones on day 1 of 2023 Cannes. The actress embodied Hollywood glamour as she complemented the red carpet in her captivating Elie Saab gown. The ensemble featured a low-cut halter neckline, with dramatic cape-like details flowing down her shoulders. Her flowy silhouette was accompanied by glamorous makeup consisting of black smokey eyes, mascara-laden eyelashes and matte maroon lips.

While the majority of celebrities make a solo appearance, the 2023 Cannes Film Festival was a family affair for Catherine Zeta-Jones. She walked the red carpet at the 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival arm-in-arm with her husband Michael Douglas and daughter Carys Douglas. The trio attended the screening of Jeanne du Barry, which Catherine stars in as well as the opening ceremony of the Cannes 2023 red carpet. Douglas kept things classic as he opted for a black pantsuit. Underneath, he added a crisp white shirt, which had a black bowtie. There was a white pocket square in his lapel, which rounded off his red carpet appearance.

Douglas and Catherine's 20-year-old daughter Carys also joined them in a sheer white lace dress, showcasing a deep V-neck and back cutouts with breezy coverage. The budding musician, who performs under the name CZD, accessorised the jaw-dropping delicate look with just a pair of diamond earrings, a matching bracelet and rings. She finished off with a natural glam and pulled back her locks into an elegant bun. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones also have a 22-year-old son, Dylan.
