SSC CHSL 2016 Tier 2 Result One Week Earlier Than Scheduled Date

New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be declaring the tier 2 results for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam a week earlier than the proposed date. Earlier the Commission had notified the result date to be 25 October 2017. However in the recent status report, it has shifted the SSC CHSL 2016 tier 2 result a week before. Candidates awaiting the result can expect the same on 18 October 2017. With close to 15 days left for the result to be declared, candidates must gear up their preparation for the next phase of selection process.

Results will be available at the official website of the Commission at ssc.nic.in.

The result for SSC CHSL 2016 tier 1 exam was declared on 2 June and total of 53201 candidates had qualified it out of 3057993 examinees. Cut off score in unreserved category was 127.50 and 14517 candidates of the category have qualified for the descriptive test. The examination was held from 7 January 2017 till 8 February 2017.

Tier 2 descriptive exam was held on 9 July alongside paper 1 for Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhypak Examination 2017 (14 July) and paper 2 for the junior engineer (JE) 2016 exam (30 July).

The SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 result will be declared on 31 October 2017. Final result for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination-2015 will be declared on 16 October.

Changes, if any, in the schedule will be notified by the Commission at the official website.
