Mumbai:
A woman has been killed in Mumbai while on her morning walk with her husband. The couple was stabbed by two bikers in the Kala Chowkie area of Parel in Central Mumbai.
The police say that this seems to be a case of chain-snatching. Thirty-nine-year-old Bina Dedhia tried to resist when the thieves tried to grab her chain; she died on the spot after they stabbed her repeatedly. The bikers managed to race away with the gold chain. Her husband has been rushed to hospital with injuries.
The attack took place at 5.45 this morning.
