Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's latest film Raabta, which opened to poor reviews last Friday, has so far earned Rs 20.71 crore at the box office, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film collected Rs 2.25 crore on Tuesday (Day 5). The collections dropped by over Rs 25 lakh as compared to the previous day. The box office collections over the weekend amounted to more than Rs 10 lakh. Box Office India reports that worldwide earnings of Raabta would gross up to Rs 35 crore. Raabta, jointly produced by Homi Adajani and T-Series' Bhushan Kumar, is made on a budget of Rs 55 crore.

Here's the box office collection of Raabta, as tweeted by Taran Adarsh.

Raabta is a love story between Sushant and Kriti's characters, who are separated by death and meet centuries later. Their story transcends over time. Jim Sarbh plays a negative role and is responsible for their separation. Rajkummar Rao features in a cameo role as a 324-year-old man while Deepika Padukone stars in a special song sequence.

In his review for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee wrote, "Dinesh Vijan's Raabta is a painfully elongated saga that plays out across two lifetimes separated by several centuries. The characters are superficially etched. Given the lack of depth in his role, it is a marvel that Sushant Singh Rajput occasionally breathes life into the vacuum at the heart of the film. Jim Sarbh is out of his depth in the garb of a crazed lover. For Kriti Sanon, Raabta is a choppy, rudderless ride." He gave the film 2 stars out of 5.

Raabta released along with Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan's Behen Hogi Teri.
