Mumbai skips 26/11 parade

Mumbai: As India remembers 26/11, an impressive show of strength was demonstrated by the Mumbai Police this morning.

Armed with its latest acquisitions: from AK47s, to amphibious vehicles, policemen marched down Mumbai's Marine Drive.

Their route began from the Trident Hotel, one of the sites of the 26/11 attack, to Girgaum Chowpatty.

Joining the police was the newly created elite Force One commandos, raised in the aftermath of 26/11, and trained along the lines of the NSG.  

But as Yogesh Pawar reports, the city skipped the event.
