New Delhi:

An ongoing exhibition in South Delhi has offered a glimpse of a hobby of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra: Photography.

An avid photographer since the age of 12, Priyanka got the hobby as a legacy from her father Rajiv Gandhi.

The photographs were displayed for the first time by a design firm, K2, and are priced at Rs 45,000 and above.

Priyanka's photographs have received an encouraging response, said curator Kohelika Kohli, the manager of K2 India.

Light and Shadow was the theme of many of her photographs.

Titled 'Stage Hand', one of the photos showed the profile of a man's face, lit up by a bulb, standing under the stage at Ramlila Grounds. 'Shadows of a Cyclist' captured the shadow of a man riding a bicycle.

The photography exhibition comes days after the assembly elections in Delhi, in which the Congress had failed to win a single seat. Priyanka's mother and brother, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, are the top two leaders of the party.

Following the elections, demands have been renewed to bring Priyanka in a leadership role in the party. But she has always dismissed the demands.
