In Kashmir, hundreds take pledge against stone-throwing
Handawara: Hundreds of Kashmiris on Wednesday took a mass pledge against stone-throwing and violence after the interlocutors met them in a village in north Kashmir.

The massive gathering was organized by an independent MLA on the assurance of interlocutors that government should also protect the civilian rights and punish the guilty.

The interlocutors appointed by the Centre, including Dileep Padgaonkar and Radha Kumar, have submitted their report to the Home Minister and given a list of recommendations to the government.

They continue to make regular trips to Kashmir to keep the dialogue going.
